Unboxing the 1000 lumen Coast XPH30R

My initial thoughts are that this dual purpose work light / headlamp is a power house with four different settings that top out at 1000 lumens! 

This light comes with multiple mounting methods which is always nice. A regular nylon head strap is included but Coast takes it up a level and also includes a River strap that would be ideal for use on a hard hat. The XPH30R also is complete with a magnetic mount built into the tail of the light. 

One of my favorite things about a lot of Coast flashlights is the dual power source. This light is equipped with a rechargeable battery but also has the ability to run off of 2x cr132 batteries, assuring you’ll never be left in the dark. 

Full of other features like a USB-C charging port with a status light and an adjustable focus beam this light is quick to impress! 

I’ll check back in with you guys in a few weeks with a list of pros and cons and a full review, but out of the box I’m diggin’ it!
