I’ve got another great bag option from the awesome folks at 3VGear. The Subrosa Urban Tech backpack is a versatile and reliable backpack for anyone. Whether you’re the outdoor adventurer or the big city commuter, this backpack is for you. With its rugged build and well thought out design, the Subrosa offers a great balance of comfort, function, and durability.
The standout feature of the Subrosa is its storage capacity. With 3 big compartments, you’ll have no problem carrying all the gear you need no matter what you’re getting into. The Subrosa is built with organization and efficiency in mind. Inside the main compartment, you have 2 padded sleeves to fit your laptop or tablet. A big admin pocket which has a place for all of your things to go while keeping it organized and not just thrown in so you won’t have to feel like you’re reaching into Mary Poppin’s bag to find your pen!
The Subrosa is built out of 500D Nylon, with YKK zippers with quiet pulls. The padded shoulder straps will help keep things comfortable all day long. The Subrosa also features 2 bottle pockets on either side and has space for a hydration reservoir inside the main compartment. It has a velcro panel for your CCW and an EVA molded back panel to keep things cool and comfortable.
This 30L bag weighs only 2.5 lbs when empty. It’s dimensions are 19”h x 13”w x 9”d, so it’s just the right size to carry for any day trip or to use for a 24-72hr bug-out-bag. The Subrosa only comes in black, but if you’re not looking to stand out in a crowd then that shouldn’t be an issue, you can be gray man and go about your business without anyone knowing what you are or aren’t carrying.
With all it has going for it, the Subrosa may not be for everyone. If you’re looking for something tactical and bulky, then this won’t be the pack for you. The Subrosa Urban Tech backpack is more of a minimalist style with an outdoor pack feeling.
Overall, the Subrosa Urban Tech backpack is a very reliable and well designed everyday backpack for anyone who commutes to work or doesn’t want anything to bulky when out on hikes or walking around the farmers market. This is a one size fits all kind of backpack that can meet anyone’s needs.
