It seems summer has come to an end here in New England. The temperatures have begun to drop and my vegetable garden is showing signs of stunting. While most of are tree still have vibrant green leaves the yellows and reds associated with the autumn season are starting to poke through.
Seasonal changes offer a new look at familiar landscapes for lovers of the great outdoors and drastically change access to many of the edible and medicinal plants that can be found in the wild. Wildlife behaves differently as they prepare for the coming winter, and many of the once popular outdoors spots for people begin to become less populated.
I enjoy this time of year as I can get out more due to the lack of oppressive heat and the landscape offers so many stunning photography opportunities. I hope you all get out there and enjoy the autumn season!
